In-Flight Experience
What kind of airplane do you fly?
We operate many different types of aircraft from twin-engine piston to heavy multi-engine jets. All have executive class seating, small and large full galleys, lavatories. Large jets can be operated with/without a flight attendant for your service and jets are operated by two highly qualified pilots. Jet aircraft have WiFi and 110 volt outlets.
Are the aircraft noisy?
You will have no problem speaking with fellow passengers or closing your eyes for a little rest in our jet aircraft. The twin piston and turbo-prop aircraft are a little noisier, how ever you should have no difficulties.
How many bags can I bring?
We plan that each passenger will bring one standard sized bag, (40 pounds each) which we place in the cargo hold. One personal belonging such as a laptop, purse or briefcase as carry on items. All checked bags MUST have an outside identification tag. We do ask that if you have a special need to bring something over-sized or has an abnormal weight that you tell us 24-hours in advance.
Is there a restroom on the plane?
The larger jet aircraft usually have a private lavatory with hot and cold running water and flushing lavatory. The small twins and turbo-props usually do not. But those flights are shorter and planning can usually be a good idea. We do ask that each user help keep it clean for your fellow members.
Can the flight be cancelled due to weather?
Your safety is our first priority and sometimes it is better to wait on the ground than to fly in rough or undesirable weather. This would cause some delays. If the delay is too great we will cancel the flight. We will always do our best to get you to your destination in a timely manner, however Mother Nature controls the weather we fly in.

What services does Gulfstar Air Charters offer?
Gulfstar Air Charters, Inc. sells aircraft from piston twins to large jet aircraft. We offer a complete service working with your CPA/CFO to analyze and locate the right aircraft for you and your company.
We offer a “Turn-Key” management service for your personal aircraft. Supplying you with crew, insurance, fuel and other discounts displayed on a monthly statement. Placing your aircraft on our guaranteed charter program will return money to defray some of the monthly fixed expenses.
We also offer an air charter service for those last minute trips and to remove the cumbersome use of airline transportation.
What airports do you fly to?
There are 19,700 airports in the USA and 5,170 are open to general public. we can go to most of these airports which brings you closer to your final destination saving time. The Airlines serve 503 of those airports. So you can see one of the advantages of owning and chartering a private jet. We use private terminals which reduces the risk of disease and crowded areas. Also no lines or TSA.
Safety & Security
You say no TSA lines. What security checks are required for flight?
As part of your charter request, we conduct a TSA check on all passengers. This is a requirement and we do request to have at least 24 hours to do this. Sometimes we can get it done within a few hours.
What about aircraft safety?
Our aircraft are flown by two professionally trained pilots who have many years and hours experience. Our flight attendants are also professionally trained for your service as well as safety. Our crews must complete and pass exams and flight test in simulators every six months. Our pilots are required to maintain a current First-Class medical. Our aircraft meet the same maintenance standards as the major airlines. That includes frequent maintenance checks and inspections. Our aircraft are pressurized and air conditioned. Gulfstar crews cleans the aircraft after each flight and electrostatic cleaning every 45 days with a 90 day chemical approved for aircraft. We are proud of our aircraft.
Is there any restrictions on what I bring on the plane?
You will NOT be allowed to travel with any restricted or hazardous materials as defined in the TSA Prohibited Items List. You may NOT carry-on firearms or weapons of any kind, or alcoholic beverages or contraband of any kind. We do have other restriction regarding pets. See Legal section.
