Managing your aircraft
We Understand Aircraft Ownership and what it requires for us to do a great job for you. Choosing the right aircraft management company can be difficult with so many to choose from. Please take the time to investigate what makes us different from the next guy. Big name companies may not be the best choice for your multi-million dollar jet and you could get lost in the crowd. What is the company’s accident, incident and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) violation history? Now days you can find it all on the internet. Service, Safety, Reliability, Integrity and Dependability, that’s who we are.
Budgeting and cost of operation can be a headache and our aircraft owners are busy running their business. They want a company that has it together with their aircraft clean, safe and ready when they need to travel. With fifty-years in the business, safety, cleanliness, service and cost savings is where we shine. We have flown many celebrities, dignitaries, affluent, businessmen and families and we know how important your travel requirements are. Tell us what you need and we will tailor our services for you.
We try to avoid unpleasant surprises after the management agreement is signed. We evaluate your aircraft management needs based on how much charter and how much you will be using the aircraft. Management fee’s are pretty standard. The difference in operating cost is usually in pilot salary, fuel, maintenance costs, training, landing/ramp/parking fees, hangar and other “hidden” charges. It’s important to get all of the facts before signing on with any private jet manager.
We offer two classes of aircraft management:
1. Private management for you and your company with no charter, operating under Federal Aviation Regulations Part 91. We dedicate one crew of two for this type of operation.
2. Air Charter management using your aircraft when you are not using it operating under Part 135. Because of the volume of flying required for charter and in compliance with rest & duty regulations, we recommend two full crews. This will allow the maximum amount of charter hours for your aircraft.
Having Gulfstar manage your aircraft offers all the benefits of an in-house flight department, but without the headaches. Gulfstar offers a practical aircraft management program designed to operate your aircraft under the highest clean & safety standards while enabling you to realize substantial savings on the direct costs of your aircraft. Our computer based software keeps track of just about everything and we can supply a monthly report. Aircraft management benefits and services include:

At Gulfstar Air Charters, we charge one simple monthly fee. Every cost associated with your aircraft is purely a pass thru as shown on your monthly statement. It is our mission to keep your cost as low as possible. Having a Part 135 managed aircraft also gives you the flexibility to enroll your aircraft into our guaranteed hours charter program. Chartering your aircraft to individuals, when you are not using it, can significantly reduce your cost of ownership by up to 80 percent, but it’s not a profitable business venture. If you are buying a jet to make a profit, don’t buy a jet. The right question to ask is, “How much of my fixed cost can I expect to save by charter?” Gulfstar Aviation team makes a commitment to take care of your aircraft as if it were our own. That sets us apart from most other aircraft management company’s. Gulfstar’s team of trip coordinators and customer account managers are available to address your questions and concerns 24/7.
